lb-
hi all, done some searching but thought I'd ask here too. being offered a zeiss super Ikonta 533/16 folder (along with a pile of other gear) and trying to help figure out fair prices (seller is a friend of sorts). I'm really mostly interested in the zeiss and I've read a bunch about the camera itself (haven't used one yet). anyway...... the camera had a CLA a little over a year ago with everything working fine (meter dead). cosmetics are fair to good (dont' really care but I guess it affects price). any consensus on fair price? checked ebay but they're all over the place price wise. thanks in advance! cheers lucas
davecollopy
You are right, Lucas. I've seen the camera go for several hundred. I've also seen it sniped for pretty cheap. I would offer $200 to $250 in good condition. That's a very fair price to you and it's a fair amount for someone to recieve who isn't interested in listing the camera himself. kai_griffin
In fair-good condition with a dead meter... I think 200-250 is bang on the money. In top condition, with working meter, prices can skyrocket, and it's hard to predict what people will bid for them in a given week! I was "lucky" & picked up mine in this condition for something like $350 a couple of years ago.
