j_kluska
Can anyone tell me what the screw size/specification is for the Nettar's tripod mount?
david_littleboy__tokyo__ja
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! You found my tripod screw size conversion frob for me. I had left it in my Nettar. Which is to say, the Nettar at hand has the standard larger size (3/8") tripod threads. FWIW, the Nettar at hand has a very shallow (5mm or so) thread hole, though. You'll need a short screw. JDMvW
If it's the larger screw size, in any case, most camera stores (if you can still find one) will somewhere have little screw-in adapters to take you from 3/8" to 1/4". The names for these are "Ueberwinde", "Converter Bush", "Ecrou Transformateur", "Arandela de Tranformacion de Rosca", "Filettatura Superiore", "Obergevind", or (my personal favorite) a "Verloopnippel". At least according to the German manufacturer, hama ®. ;)
