Nikon have now advised initial delivery volumes for the UK and, in line with known semi-conductor and supply issues around the world, they are significantly behind production requirements to fulfil orders. As per Nikon’s announcement earlier in December, pre-orders have significantly over performed their expectations. We are working with Nikon UK to understand intake timings and quantities, against their worldwide communication of a shipping date of 24th December, which they cannot fulfil. I'll make the most of being able to put food on the table and having both my kidneys for a little longer. :) Same here, hence I have not preordered the Z9. Facebook has at least two groups dedicated to the Z9 alone, plus many other groups for Nikon cameras, Z cameras, Nikon lenses, Nikon bird photographers .... I'll never have enough time to read them.
