klsphoto
We may be flying to Yuma this weekend. Not sure how much time I'll have for photography, but are there any "must see" places for landscape/nature photos in and around Yuma? Since we're flying, we won't be able to travel too far from Yuma itself. Thanks in advance for your answers. Karen
garyowen
There's several old missions, the old territorial prison and the old Army fort all within the city limits. The Yuma Chamber of commerace can give you lots of good tips on to see places. Used to live there and it's really a nice place to visit especially this time of year. michaelging
The prison is interesting and the sand dunes just across the river are beautiful at sunrise and sunset. If you are interested in Bird photos , take some long glass and you can shoot great photos. Many birds winter in the Yuma area.
