jack_lo_..._t_o
This is a grab shot from the night of the blackout. I carried my XA2 on a walk with my wife to see what we could see. What do you think of it?, and: do you see the main area of Photoshopping?<div></div>

jack_lo_..._t_o
Interesting composition, John (hope you don't mind my addressing you by your first name). You have the converging diagonals of the building parts reinforced by the woman's upper arm. Very fortuitous that she is blonde, and in a red dress, setting herself apart from the other characters with some help from the blue of the sky. Some might object to the lack of sharp focus and detail, but it lends to the impressionistic, dreamlike quality. While there is no literal story line, there are several "moments" here as expressed in the bodily positions of the characters relative to each other, within the parking-lot milieu. Which leads to my major criticism of the image: the figures are caught in a "posing" mode; the image has no emotional statement to make, so what you have here is an imitation of a blurred fashion photo a la Vogue Italia. jack_lo_..._t_o
Gee Richard: ya never heard of the book "Embracing Your Inner Critic?" He and I have a stormy relationship; but it's my Inner Salad Chef that I can't stand to listen to!
