leslie_cheung
Not exact/scientific result (thru 1st 100 responses)

I originally wanted your minimal KIT with an emphasis on KIT because I, like most in the result, would just use one cam with one lens on it (or a P&S) for a simple stroll along etc...

Anyways, here are some interesting follow up:

11 of you said you use P&S (or P&S like) is all you needed
2 of you bring 3 bodies
5 of you bring 2 bodies
The rest, just one.
Zoom / Prime ratio:
71 zoom: 111 prime
Biggest kit includes 3 bodies, 2 primes and 6 zooms
Another involves 3 primes and 3 zooms but one body...what if it malfunctions? you got to lug 6 lenses around and can't shoot at all.
Lastly, I think I saw very few super zoom 18-200, most were 50 and 35mm's

bmm
Was a great thread Leslie and I must admit to much giggling at some of the interperatations of 'minimal'.
