toni_devine Posted August 31, 2003 Share Posted August 31, 2003 I have a photo booth that my husband and I run at festivals..we just started it..I am using an olympas-ulta zoom digital and I want to make a better qaulity of picture that the run of the mill...carnival type...I have a 4'flouresent tube light, and my tent is white..when I did practice photo's I didn't have anything on the walls other than my blue back drop...and no flash...and the picts came out beautiful..day and night....on the job last night my picts we're coming out with a yellow hue..and nothing I did could change it..I had tye die's and some smaller yellow banners on the side walls...I thought maybe that was it so I took most down and left the tye die up ..but picts we're still the same....I really need the decorative stuff on the walls..my ? is this...is there any inexpensive way to compinsate for this some sortra filter..or some setting that I'm missing??...I'm a newbie at this!!! thank you to any one who will help me on thistoni Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jonathan_ratzlaff Posted September 1, 2003 Share Posted September 1, 2003 Check the instructions to discover how to change the white balane on your camrea or perhaps someone has changed the white balane to reflect the blue walls. At any rate use a white piece of paper to set the white balance for your camera in the lighting that you normally use and you should be OK.
