keith_merrill
Howdy all, Finally a pentax forum. I currently use a Pz-1p and an MX for my 35mm set up along with a great set of FA, and M lenses, and would like to know from users of the MZ-S if they have found the cameras function similarly or if they have had any adjustment problems. I am very used to the pz and would like to avoid carrying and constantly refering to a manual. Also, I would like to know how users feel about the MZ-S, if it is worth the cost. the tightwad
While I've not used the MZ-s I doubt that my trusty Pz-1p would givemuch ground to it in any way. Basicly I don't care for the layout of the MZ-s. That plus , from where I stand, the Mz-s,while "new", is notmeasurably better as a camera in any feature that would cause me to spend money for it. willie_jan_bons2
what i like about the mz-s -battery pack (which is not available for the z1-p) -imprint of shot data on negative (diafragm,speed,under/overexpo...) -45 degrees panel which easily can be read from behind the camera what i miss/dislike -the spot/integral is now a knob that must be turned, instead of a button at the z1-p. I liked that one more. -mz-s on/off knob can be turned on automatically when it is you backpack and rubbing against the wall.
