jean_marc_caimi
Has anyone experienced very soft edges and corners with this although very good point and shoot camera (no matter what aperture, also in bright light)? Is it just mine?
Thanks
jean-marc

jean_marc_caimi
Thanks for the reply Andy. Yet I don't know if it's a good or bad news.
barryreid
Hijacking this a bit but, is the AF normally very slow and hit and miss?
jean_marc_caimi
Not for me. Autofocus with its simple (and really ultra sharp but dramtically NOT in the edges and corner) tessar lens, is super fast compared to other p&s (Nikon 35ti, for instance).
It focuses 95% of the times correctly for me. Of course in some cases you ought to use the half pressed release button for a pre AF and then recompose the image. But this you know.
Also flash recharges very fast. Could have been a perfect camera if it wasn't for this almost blurred edges of the frames. Could be a nice effect, but not for my purposes.
