kelly_dykstra1
I just purchased a Yashica Mat 124G from ebay. I loaded a roll in today and noticed a problem keeping the film tight. When I use my Seagull the film rolls completely tight, but with the Yashica there seems to be slack. Anyone have the same problem and know how to fix this? savagesax
Been a while, but I shot with one about 20 years ago and the film should be tight. If it's not you may run into light leaks.
ian_tindale
I think you've mis-loaded it. Do you have any instructions to follow? Incidentally, I've done a little photo howto for how to load roll film into a Mamiya C330S here. When I get my Yashica Mat 124G back here in the same place as my D50, I should do another similar photo howto series for the Mat 124G. There's slight differences between each TLR that might make it worthwhile doing one for each that I encounter. For example, the Mat-124G has two different alignment position markers for 120 and 220 film, the locking mechanisms for opening and closing the back are quite different (they all seem to vary most in this respect) and so on.
