Yashica 35 cc lens front element

Hello,just bought a yashica 35 cc in a good condition but there is

many dust in the lens. I took out the front group of the lens and

clean it but there still some dust behind the front element inside

the front group. doses anybody know if the front element can be taken

out from the group ?

A better option would be to remove the rear element, open the shutter to B and clean.

 

I'm not sure how this lens works, but make sure that infinity focus is set when you're finished. Otherwise, you have a camera that won't focus properly.

I really doubt that a few dust particles will make any difference. Most all older

lenses have some dust.

 

Make some images, I think you will be very pleased. The lens is sharp and

contrasty.

Tony, that is a very fine camera. I really like the results from mine. Unless it's about ALOT of dust, i'd leave it alone.
