vuyisich
I have a problem with colors in PS CS2, and would really appreciate help. Hereare the details: I shoot with an XTi in sRGB color space. I open the CR2 file inPS CS2 (newest Camera Raw), set the color space to sRGB (or any otheravailable), and some reds are missing from the photo. In the example below, two 200% crops are shown: the top one shows what thecolors should look like (as seen in DPP), and the bottom one how PS renders it.Obviously something is very wrong, but I cannot figure it out. This may be a clue: any time I move any slider in Camera Raw, the good versionshows up. As soon as I release the slider, it goes back to the discoloredversion. Really weird. Here is another clue: Camera Raw displays correct colors as long as the magnification is less than 100%. However, when I convert the file to TIFF, it still has the wrong colors. Thanks in advance for any help.
thirteenthumbs
I'm on a P4 Pc, Win.XP, CS2, R2400, C66. Print with preview and preview selected in the printer settings all looked as it should until Print and the printer preview came up-maginta was cyan and cyan was cyan and print with any type of paper was true to the printer preview. I have Photoshop 7 installed on the same machine and the prints were true to the Photoshop image.<br> I tried control panel>add remove programs>CS2 repair/remove>repair but no help. I uninstalled CS2, manually deleted the CS2 folder in program files, defragmented the HD then wiped the free space and reinstalled CS2 and now prints look as they should on the R2400 via CS2. I suspect the problem to be in Photoshop caused by Windows update, Defender, or Kaspersky internet security inadvertently corrupting a file somewhere.
