heathorchard
Hi all,

I am heading out on a 10 day shoot this Saturday and will be using the Sony EX3, which has some of the worst ergonomics I've used on any camera. My wrist has suffered multiple sprains and is having a fairly bad flare up right now. Unfortunately I will be shooting almost exclusively handheld and I'm beginning to worry about how my wrist will hold up. I own a wrist brace for computer use but it is too bulky and restricting to use while shooting. I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations on a good wrist support product that will allow me to fit comfortably into the hand strap on the camera and still have the freedom to use all the controls and grip the camera firmly.

Thanks!
-Heath
wayne_eckert
Maybe a shoulder brace would help take the some of the load off of your wrist?
http://www.lensrentals.com/rent/video/support/shoulder-mounts
Wayne

cole_paquette
I'm agreeing with Wayne on this.
get a shoulder brace. I had to look up your camera to see what you were talking about, and right on the Sony website it says the camera is for shoulder brace use.
I believe B&H Photo Video has some very affordable brace units.
