chimera_h
Hi, I'm interested in purchasing a lighting kit for children's photography. I've seen several people who have bought from the Steve Kaeser website. There is a 3 light strobe/flash 480 w/s Variable output for $319. I've posted the link below. Does this look like an good deal? Is there anything else in a lighting kit that I should want or need? While I realize there are far higher quality lighting kits, I really have a limited budget! So, what do you think? Advice? http://store.prostores.com/servlet/skaeser/Detail?no=282 Thanks!
johnmarkpainter
I would spend the same amount of money on one better Monolight that you can expand upon in the future. You can do a lot with one light and a couple of reflectors
brooks short
The 75 watt modelling lights on these lights would be next to useless. And who knows what sort of build quality or attachments for light modifiers these lights have. Save your money. If you want cheap, look at Alien Bees. ronnievalentine
Save your money. I agree with getting a good mono and add a reflector until you can afford more.
phoneguy
Paige, Save your money. You get what you pay for. You also have to think about the compatible accessories. As stated, look at AlienBees You can get one AB 400 for startes, and use a reflector. It's a great system.
