Workshops

Can anyone suggest some good workshops really covering the nuts and bolts of

studio lighting. I've been a nature photographer for years and recently began

doing studio work and I would really like to see if I can find a comprehensive

workshop on lighting - maybe something 3-4 days long.

Where are you located? I know that in Minneapolis there will be a basic and advanced studio lighting class offered in the February '07 time frame from National Camera. I don't know the exact dates yet. I don't think they are multi-day classes, probably just an evening for each.

I've taken a few 2-3 day lighting workshops at Julia Dean Photo Workshops (http://www.juliadean.com) in Los Angeles, and have learned a lot each time. Their new 2007 course catalog should be available sometime in January.
