  3. Vivek, #1 is very nice!

  4. Yes, 18th February is the 1st day of the Lunar New Year for 2007, symbolised by the Boar/Pig. "Gong Xi Fa Cai" greetings to all.

  8. Vivek, these are really great shots!

The Nikkor 35/2.5 is a super lens. Tell us about the mount.

  9. Here are a few from the festival in Montreal..

  10. Back Stage...

  11. Alex, Thanks! These were from W-Nikkor 2.5cm f/4 lens and not the 35mm f/2.5. It is in LTM. I am trading in my 25mm f/3.5 Canon lens for an unmounted 50mm f/2.8 lens (crazy, eh!).

    Jeff, Lovely images!

  12. Cheers Vivek. Is this not a great event to photograph!

  13. Great stuff, Vivek!

  14. Thanks, James! As Jeff put it elegantly, I enjoyed the event more! :)

  15. Lovely snaps, thanks Vivek!

Over here they call it the Year of the Golden Pig. The "Golden" year comes every 60 years. (Please correct me if my info is erroneous.)

The way things are going, it looks to be more like the Golden Chinese Century!
