gary_meader
I have an Epson V700 USB'd to my iMac 24" and my wife has a MacBook Pro and sits on the other side of the shop. The V700 shows in her Print and Fax prefs and she can print wirelessly-effortlessly- on a 2200 and a 3800 but her computer won't find the scanner. Epsonscan is installed on her machine as well as mine but it's not allowing her to do this. Is it Epson Scan? We also tried Vue Scan, but it didn't make any difference, nor SilverFast. Any ideas? Thanks Gary
howard_m
have you tried hardwire/USB connection to the MBP?

You dont mention what wireless adaptor you're using but it's not unusual for them to be flakey

Scanner Interface: Hi-Speed USB 2.0, IEEE 1394 (FireWire)
noreen
This might not be related, but: I have a MacBook Pro and a Brother multifunction machine. The Brother is connected directly to the Airport base station that provides the house WiFi. Although I can print from it via WiFi, I can't access it as a scanner that way, either using the Brother Control Center or VueScan. (I haven't put much effort into trying to troubleshoot this issue.)
