dotty_waxman Posted January 5, 2000 Share Posted January 5, 2000 I am planning to spend a day or 2 in the Catskill mountain area en route to the Adirondacks at the end of January. Are there any specific locations where I might find some outstanding landscapes (assuming that winter WILL indeed come)? Is Delaware county a particularly scenic area? What about waterfalls? jeff_nadler1 Posted January 6, 2000 Share Posted January 6, 2000 If you don't mind adding on to your request, there are also several reservoirs in the Catskills that have substantial populations of wintering bald eagles with good viewing stations.
