Window Shades for Image Editing

<p>my new apt has these generic white shades that let too much light in.. Instead of going with thick curtains , i'd like to find some shades that block the light well.. anybody have any suggestions or links? :)</p>

<p>Hi Joseph, if these are roller shades (you don't state quite what they are), there are light-blocking versions of those made. I've used them in the past. Even the white/off-white shade blocks a significant amount of light penetration. You're trying to block the glare, not make a darkroom, right? They will work for that fine. In a pinch, I've actually used black polyethelene sheeting tacked up to the windows to make a temporary darkroom.</p>

<p>I use heavy grade aluminum foil.....helps with the heat, And I also have an A/C for the room too.......<br>

so it's dark and cool.....works for me...Bob</p>
