nate_kinnee
Nice shot, great moment! Interesting that they don't have camera restrictions. Which lens did you use?
marc_morris
Hi Nate, This is my new 400mm F2.8 IS lens . 200 ISO @ 1000th F4. Canon Mark IIN. I have a pass for the event, but I have seen loads of cameras with pro lens.

scott_ferris
Too late for this year, sorry, but I have taken my 1D and 300mm 2.8 in and been in the front rows, if you don't bug anybody they seem fine with it. I spent a day there in 2006 and and never got approached by any officials.<div></div>

dave_hoffmann
>> Sorry suffered from down sizing it is tack sharp, honestly! Downsizing should make it look even sharper. Didn't you apply any USM?
scott_ferris
Hi Dave, no I don't do anything to them as a rule, I didn't have the original with me so I used a thumbnail from iPhoto then put it into Lightroom, it didn't come out too well did it? :-) I use LR to upload to Photo.net because the email setting just loads straight up and goes in line with the thread. When I work with the RAW file, my normal work flow is RAW straight to LR, I then usually lighten them slightly and correct colour balance as I find it easier than messing about at the time of capture, my 1D is set to underexpose by 1/3 to 2/3 of a stop as it blows highlights too easily and I sometimes apply a tiny amount of USM but not normally, when they are sharp, they are sharp. This is an upsized thumbnail that was then downsized, I should have said "Sorry suffered from incompetent post processing"........
