andy_hebert
I'm just curious if Crane Silver Rag paper will work on an Epson R800, I've heard many good things about the paper and would love to give it a try. I don't really think i'll need to print larger than 8x10 very often hence the R800. If the R800 won't work which Epsons will? Thanks Andy
bobmichaels
I don't believe that Silver Rag has been made available in cut sheets yet, only on rolls. Someone correct me if they know where it is available.
jem
No cut sheets yet is correct (you could cut up a roll). But it does work with an R800 using the PK ink...it's not quite as good as with K4 but it certainly works.
bobmichaels
I just read a post from Jim Doyle at shadesofpaper.com that he thinks he's getting 8 1/2 x 11 Silver Rag in tomorrow. Jeremy, I know this doesn't help you but hopefully some will be coming your way soon.
andy_hebert
Thanks everyone, I wasn't sure if it was too thick or not. I'll wait til the cut sheets are around then maybe i'll pick up a cheap R800, plop in some of the dedicated B&W inks and give it a try.
