wilhelm
Most of my M lenses (35,50,90, and 135) take 39mm filters. Is/was there a wider lens that also uses this size, (not necessarily Leica brand)? Someone mentioned that one of the older 21mm lenses might have. (If so is it any good, since some of them were reputed dogs?) TIA
john_collier5
The 21/4 SA has a E39 filter thread; and, it is not one of Leica/Schneider's finest. It suffers from vignetting. <p> Cheers,
andrew_schank
My little Voigtlander 25mm is 39mm filter size. The highly rated new 21mm Voigtlander lens is also 39mm, and is coupled to the rangefinder as well.
