paul_neuthaler
Just received from Adorama in great shape -- but does not fit my 39mm DR Summicron or 39mm RF Summaron or 39mm 90 Elmar. Did they also come in larger filter sizes?
ronald_moravec1
The older 39mm filter size lenses take 42mm caps and therefore polarizer. If it is the proper one, it goes on the outside of the lens and is fixed with a clamp screw. If it is the current one, I think it fits 43mm or 46mm and there are adapters to retrofit. If it is too small, it fits the older screw mt glass. If this is the case, it is green rather than grey as are some of the older 42mm, send it back. You can tell the color by looking at white paper with the filter 3 in away.
duane_kucheran
This link doesn't provide a direct answer but it indicates there's a difference between the X and non X versions: http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6519 I understand the Minolta made 39 mm diameter lenses have a coarser filter thread pitch of 1 mm vs the Leitz made which are 0.75 mm. Could the X version of the polarizer be for them? Cheers,

james_elwing
13352 is the correct modern No. for the polariser you want; easy to confuse with the 13352X, which also seems to be for E39 lenses in 1961 Leitz General Catalogue reprint. Don't understand.
