mark_stephan2
Hey FD users, my T90 which was overhauled a few years ago works perfectly without film. The EEE message occurs after I load film and expose a few frames. What's going on? I can clear the message after turning the camera on and off a few times and the message does not reappear. It only happens with film in the camera.
ben_hutcherson
The EEE error is usually associated with problems in the shutter release magnets and not in really with film being loaded/unloaded. Short of service, about the best thing you can do is set the camera to continuous mode and fire the shutter a few hundred times.
John Seaman
Pressing the battery check button may be an easier way of getting rid of the EEE message. Perhaps the problem happens with film, because the extra strain of advancing the film depresses the battery voltage slightly. New batteries may help. I always store my T90 with the shutter open, that is, open it on slow long shutter speed or "B", and remove the batteries before it recloses. I read somewhere that this helps to prevent the magnets sticking.
JDMvW
There is a surprising variety of different takes on the T90 EEE error cause and repair. Google T90 +EEE and such-like The crudest is simply to hit the camera hard, but I don't recommend that one.
SCL
Try removing and then refitting your lens. I've occasionally found that this solves the issue on my T90.
