Which Scanner? Epson vs. Canon...

If you don't know that, then you should probably make the slightest effort to do some

research. Then you won't ask others what scanner you need when you haven't described

what you scan, how often you scan, etc.

I'm still lukewarm on my 9950F. It sometimes surprises me with the quality it's capable of but usually leaves me feeling unsatisfied with the results. The fact that I get decent results at times, makes me think there could more operator error involved than basic equipment deficiencies! The medium format film holders don't seem to fit the various film brands (width variations) all of the time and I wish they were more forgiving in that way.

should i buy the epson 4990 or the canon 9950f?

 

what do you think about thar review? the epson should get a better rating, but i think the scanresults of the canon looks nicer, or?
