Michael R Freeman
That is a Nikon FG (actually a mirror image of one).

starshooter
It's obviously a very rare Nokin Doubleflex, a cheap German copy of a Japanese camera. It uses two rolls of film, like the old two-strip Technicolor movie film. Ask me anything about olde cameras.
marklcooper
Wayne - do you know where I can get a neck strap for the Nokin Doubleflex? It looks like it might be pretty complicated attaching a strap.
starshooter
My grandparents came from Germany and I know my people. They can make very nice cameras that are overly complicated to utilize. I have an Exacta that is harder than heck to shoot photos with because of all the fail-safe gizmos it has to keep you from taking a photo accidentally. Before they will sell you a strap for a Doubleflex you have to take a class in which way is up.
machts gut
Actually it's not that difficult. Before the advanced german photo amateur learns about aperture, shutter speed and burned highlights, he has to learn to stand on his head. Then the most difficult part about it is where to place your neck strap on your body and not on the camera.
James G. Dainis
At least Nokin had the consideration to make a camera for left handed users. James G. Dainis

starshooter
I forgot. My Exacta has a left handed film advance. I seem to remember on some of them you can switch it to the other side. I wonder what a Nokin goes for on eehbaye these days....
