working camera
Every now and then on this forum some daft bugger comes up with a thread where folks (lurkers and participants alike) are asked to type their names and say where they are from. With my first experience with such threads I thought the idea was a bit naff but they usually end up being quite enjoyable and help to create a sense of community. Things have been slowish recently and we haven't had one of these for about a year and a half. It's a Leica Photography forum tradition, so if you feel so inclined play the game. stuart_richardson
A churlish 27. Born in New Zealand to American parents, raised in Connecticut, university in Vermont, Yaroslavl and Vladivostok Russia, Sapporo Japan and Santa Barbara, California. Currently in Sapporo Japan. Oddly, my heart belongs to Iceland. Also Copenhagen, which is probably one of the coolest cities I have ever witnessed.

Currently a proud 46 year old Leica M6TTL/M3 user, teaching Spanish at a research university in DeKalb, Illinois.
larry_kincaid1
Ellicott City between Baltimore, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Lived everwhere from Kansas to Michigan to Colombia_SA, to Hawaii to New York. Public health work has taken me all over the world, most recently South Africa, Vietnam, Thailand, and next week, Morelia Mexico. This was a great idea. Seeing the addresses reminds you that the world wide web is really a world wide web. The conversations here make you begin to think everyone lives nearby. Alex_Es
Akashi City, Japan. That's near Kobe. Originally from: San Francisco Bay Area. Lived in and around Amherst, Mass. (once a stone's throw away from Emily Dickinson's house), Freiburg, Germany, Nagoya, Seto, Miyazaki (Japan) and, for a very short time, on Long Island. Love: Paris and Vancouver. Enjoyed Dublin. Would be comfortable in Den Haag, London and Basil. These days tend to hang out in Osaka where I sometimes take visitors on my magical mystery tour of the used camera shops.
