greglyon
Well, the summary says it all...except that I'm at work so I can't look at the lens to see myself! Where was the Nikon 24-85 f2.8-4 made? Also, anybody know a web resource that has this info for Nikon products? Thanks in advance!

greglyon
Apparently I had too much caffeine today , I didn't realize how many exclamation points I used until now. At least I didn't go all caps.
RaymondC
I don't know why pple ge so hooked up in where something is made. So many Nikon stuff is made outside of Japan. Or for anythinng else for that matter. 50 f/1.8 D lens, cheap and good, sharp. $100. Made in China. A USA distributed lens. Or you can ge a parallel imported vesion for ten bucks less, still made in China. D70 made in Thailand. Hugely popular better than D100 in many respecdts. Not sure where the D100 is made from. People don't suddenly get a D1 or D2 digital camera.
