gregp
I am headed to south Florida in early March - splitting my time between Key West and Miami. I wanted to photograph the Miami skyline at dawn and dusk. Any suggestions for tripod locations would be greatly appreciated.

teethgator
Greg,
My favorite spot is Watson Island . Under the MacArthur Causeway bridge. You get a great view of downtown miami with the bay in the forground. You can also try the KEY Biscayne bridge for a further south view of the skyline but the major buildings are not in view. I like to get the old Centrust building now the Bank of American buidling in my view. This building has different color lights depending on the night and makes a nice accent.
Both of hese views are from a distance since the bay is front of you.
Paul
