j.lewis.photo
Does anyone know of a good company to order inkjet paper and ink from on the west coast, or closer to the west coast than B/H.
I've used inkjetart (I think in Arizona), but they don't always have the paper I'm looking for.
B/H just takes a long time for shipping since they are so far away.

Thank you.
ed_lusthoff
Try Red River .com. Pretty reasonable and they ship FAST! I usually get my stuff in L.A. in 2-3 days, depending on the time of day i order.
Jeremy Stein
I use www.atlex.com. They are based in Florida, but my orders (I'm in New Mexico) always come in very quickly. I think they may ship from warehouses in other parts of the country besides Florida. Furthermore, their prices are the best I have seen anywhere in the country.
ben_goren
Red River has an excellent line of quality inexpensive papers. If you’re looking for a type of paper (high gloss, or double-sided matte paper in rolls, or whatever) as opposed to a specific brand, they’re the ones to go to. They have inexpensive sample packs so you can know exactly what the papers are like.

colorHQ (aka The Board Room) is based in Chicago but drop-ships from various locations, including California. Their prices and services are superlative. You’d be hard pressed to find a better place to get your brand-name stuff. I much prefer them over Amazon, B&H, Adorama, and the rest.

Cheers,

b&

mhahn
I used to order darkroom supplies from Freestyle Photographic, and they had some pretty good deals (great, sometimes, actually).
Here's the link to the inkjet papers that they sell (I've never bought inkjet paper from them, however).
http://www.freestylephoto.biz/c3000-Inkjet-Papers
charles_wood
Try IT Supplies in Chicago. ( www.itsupplies.com ) Their prices are marginally better than Atlex and they stock many brands of fine art papers and canvas. They also stock inks for all Epson, Canon and HP printers (desktop and large format). They have warehouses around the country and ship same day order is received.
