Where to download printable focusing scale for EF 50/1.8 II

Once upon a time... very long ago, even before I bought this (EF

50/1.8) lens I saw it (the printable focusing scale) somewhere on the

internet. I really need it but cannot afford the EF 50/1.4 USM ...

 

Please, if you know where I could find it, I d be very grateful if

you could let me know.

I'm not sure if you're asking for something to stick to the lens or DOF data. The later is available at <A HREF="http://www.canon.com/camera-museum/camera/lens/ef/data/ef_50_18v2_dof.html">Canon Camera Museum</A>. Hope this helps.

I've thought of printing up a focus scale and sticking it to my 50/1.8 II-is this what you mean?I don't know where you could put it though,there's allmost no room

Take a look at DOF Master at dfleming.ameranet.com. He has free software that prints DOF dials and charts.

Note: after downloading the full-size image; select edit then print to Inkjet sticker project paper or copy and paste to MS Word so it will print to the correct size; "paint" over the printed scale with clear nail coating cut and apply. I used a PILOT silver marker inplace of drilling a small hole and white paint.

BTY I think the 50mm f1.8 II may be the only plastic lens mount lens that is make in Japan - very nice and very sharp at f5.6 and f8.
