john_kasaian1 Posted August 18, 2003 Share Posted August 18, 2003 I'm not trying to create a panic here, but I just logged on to B and H, Calumet, Adorama, and Freestyle looking for 8x10 Tri-X. They are all out of stock! I understand Kodak's plan to sell off existing stocks of old Tri-X before introducing the "new" Tri-X film from their "new" factory, but in an atmosphere heavy with discontinued and rumor of discontinued sheet film, this is rather disconcerting. Sort of like going to the Chevy Man and theres no pick-ups on the lot. Does anybody know of a store with 8x10 Tri-X in stock? Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tim_atherton2 Posted August 18, 2003 Share Posted August 18, 2003 look back in the last month or so for threads - apparently Kodak has run out of the old Tri-X in 8x10 and the new one isn't around yet - I think there are at least two threads on it. They apparently are now shipping the sheet film sizes out (at least that's what they told me). The stock will probably be replinished fairly quickly.
