david_richert
I have finished the "Where I live" Classic Camera contest and all inputs have been posted. I have tried my best to be equal in all my posting and adjusting file sizes as not to crash the people still on dial ups. Mihai Costea has agreed to tally the votes and Gene M. has put up another camera as a prize. So lets go with a 1st prize Spartus Super, 2nd prize another of Gene's cameras, along with two Honorable Mentions. I need Mihai to post how he wants the voting to be done (I don't have his email). Classic Camera Contest
daniel_iggers
Whatever the procedure, these are going to be difficult decisions. This initiative has elicited superb entries!
cenelsonfoto
Wow! A lot of great images! What fine company we have here at photo.net!
michael_linn
An astounding set of images. I'm sure I couldn't pick a winner. The response to this contest suggests that we should do this again, regularly. What do you think?
mike_elek
Very nice work from everyone.
CosteaM
my e-mail is: costeam@rogers.com. I think I can handle 50 e-mails or so from the honorable contestants (not sure what the rule is in respect to non-contestants votes). There is a sort of conflict of interest, myself being a contestant so if anyone has a problem I can hand over the task to a non-contestant. Let me know if you are ok and then let the e-mails flow. I will tally the votes and post the results within hours. thanks
don_mckeith
damn- I've already picked about 15 "first place" pics. nice work from everyone, and a great array of cameras.
CosteaM
I'm thinking every one should send me an e-mail with the photograph number on first, second and third place. I will do the math. We should keep it simple.
michael s.
Fine job by the classic shooters. I've sent over some 'customers' from another forum who are also impressed. Congratulations.
Sandeha Lynch
Some stunning shots there - congrats to one and all.
Did I miss something? What's the voting 'thing'?
dean_williams
I'm kind of mixed up on the voting thing too. I was under the impression that Gene was to judge the contest. Am I confused? (talk about a loaded question..)
bennybee
Indeed, those are all great pictures. Congratulations to all of you participants. What a group!*****
andrea_ingram
I know this has been discussed elsewhere, but we must have another contest as it was such good fun. how about 'Spring' as the title?
janice_mackay
Nice idea Andrea, but if there's a time frame on it like the current contest, no-one in the southern hemisphere could legally post an entry. It's the beginning of autumn (fall) here now! :-)
