malia_james
Hi, I have an old enlarger I would like to donate to a local school/ arts education organization. Anyone know of anything near LA?
alex_lofquist
It would be interesting to know if anyone really uses this stuff anymore. I have a Focomat enlarger, easel, safelights, tanks, trays, timer, chemicals, exhaust fans, and a lot of misc equipment that just takes up space. art_haykin
I'm originally from L.A., but it's been some years since. I used to donate equipment and supplies to various ghetto organizations that looked out for various disadvantaged youth groups including Native Americans. Check with some social services agencies for ideas.

the_macman
Most students passing by darkrooms don't care much about photography when they get out. No need to equip them. Let parents pay. Find an individual student who is really stuck on photography an give him/her the equipment. You'll know s/he'll take adevantage of it to the max. waite_watson
I'm in LA & I take donations...not!! but seriously, find a young student with a real interest in photography & give it to him.I see enlargers out at the swap meet all the time & they're basically giving the things away.so,demand is very low.
