Where can I buy colored LED lights?

<p>Hey I'm looking to try some light painting, and I like the effects some people get with the different colored LED lights, just wondering where I could purchase them, and do they usually come with a power source? or is that something people usually rig up themselves.</p>

<p>I would suggest buying a white LED flashlight and some colored plastic.</p>

<p>White LEDs require an electronic circuit to boost the battery voltage. It's easier to just buy the whole flashlight, then you have everything you need.</p>

<p>Take one with you to the store and look for a flashlight with the proper size lens.</p>

<p>You can always tape the filter in place.</p>
