What software was used to make this multimedia piece?

I am looking to make a short film that combines photography with audio. I saw this piece on Facebook. It's beautiful. Can I make this using soundslides or would I need something a bit more professional? Any advice appreciated.<br>

<p>Combining still photography with narration and music is easily available with many non-pro programs. I use Adobe Premiere Elements (currently up to version 12 or 13). These programs can add in movie clips as well.</p>

<p>Here are a couple I did and posted on YouTube. The scuba one is from scanned slide film. The Coney Island one is all digital captured.<br>
