chris m., central florida
This is my 4th year shooting a holiday party for this large corporate client. I usually deliver the prints a few days later in custom folders, two prints for each couple attending, and the home office sends the prints to regional offices. This year, I'd like to print the 4X6 photos on the spot. I also shoot digital (duh) :-). Given that the color rendition out of my S2 Pro is excellent to begin with (very little time needed to correct images), what portable printer would you reccomend purchasing? I normally deliver 200 or so prints. Also, I almost never produce prints at home, so what paper would you suggest using for good quality prints? I have a Canon i80, seems to be very good (I use it for printing contracts on site) but the ink tanks are rather small. Not sure if it'll do the job. Thanks in advance for your advice. shaun westlake
IMHO for 4x6 pictures Epson's Picturemate can't be beat. Great prints and very low consumable cost.

stephen_lutz
I have the Canon CP 220, which I have used for this exact purpose. It worked well, and the clients liked the "on the spot" photos. I printed directly from a Canon 10D.
