what do you do about lens creep?

<p>...or as on the 75-150 f3.5 it should be called lens slide instead of just creep. slowly shaking the camera back and forth will make the lens completely zoom in and out.</p>

<p>what have you guys used to damp it down? elastics? tape? tape sounds good but I worry it might go all the way under and then peel up and get stuck on the underside of the zoom sheath or something.</p>

<p>thoughts?</p>
