The Green Mountain Derby Dames had their final bout of the season on Saturday. I photographed it, thanks to some research on what folks here said about shooting basketball.

Great pictures everyone!

I'm always fascinated by shots of kinds of sports I've never seen in reality let alone tried to capture. Peter - the gentleman's attitude is a welcome change (from time to time) compared to other sports. Benjamin - tough girls... Kenneth - the youngsters seem to take it seriously...

Wilson, may I ask a question? Are you submitting the pictures unprocessed (apart from cropping or captioning) to the clients? I ask because I would be worried about good reproduction of the colors. Maybe I'm a control-freak but I always try to submit pictures with tamed contrasts and colors that match my memory. I shoot a lot for smaller papers and my workflow works for me but I wonder what other shooters have experienced. Many papers or magazines may have good working pre-press-people but others seem to use highly automated software-solutions only for pre-press.

Please excuse my english, georg.

My weekend was pretty easy - just one soccer- and one handball-game apart from some non-sports-stuff.

Guten Tag George, for news and sports, I just sent photos straight out of the cameras. By the way I really like your work, especially handball photos.

Hi Gary, thanks and great to see many different posters and sports.

Wilson, thanks!
Gary, love the last picture! Eric - that hurdles picture shows a lot of willpower - great! Daniel H. - the two last pictures are my favorites and Daniel C. - what stands 5.8 for? Is it some kind of degree of difficulty?
