What camera(s) are you using this weekend?

  1. What a pretty looking camera! I've a 535 and it's a fine performer too. The viewfinder is street photographer's delight - big and bright. Wish these cameras had some manual override..

  2. Me too...The only one I lack now is the 1535, with the rangefinder, but they're rather rare and expensive.
  3. I'm not familiar with the Agfa Optima Sensor. I look forward to seeing some photos.
  4. My last roll of double-X is in a Leica IIIc. Currently have a 5cm f/2.5 Hektor lens on it.
No particular plans this weekend (beyond developing a lot of film, scanning it, processing it and uploading it).
Might take the Jeep out for a spin.
  5. I've loaded a few frames of Fomapan 100 into an Agfa Silette. If we get some sunny days I"ll venture outside.
  6. In addition the gear I mentioned earlier, I may take as a modern film camera my Yashica T3. It's rain resistant, has both eye level and right angle finders, and a 35mm f2.8 Carl Zeiss lens. Uses the big 6 volt lithium cell. I bought it new during the late 1980's. On the used market today they go for a lot less than the T4. With the T4 you get compactness and more focus zones. But gotta love that T3 f2.8 lens. DX from 64 to 1600 so it was Kodachrome friendly (at least for K64 and 200)
  7. Rick- running out of Double-X isn't good. Where do you get yours? The last I got came from Film Photography Project. Not really cheap for the 100' roll, but less than 100' of TX or TMY. But it gives results I like so when I use up my current supply I will likely buy more. I do miss the days when I could buy "short ends" of this film for 5 cents a foot.
  8. I'm thinking of Zeiss Ikon Icarex TM + Yashinon DX 50mm f1.8 + Arista Edu 400, but this weekend is going to be a rainy affair here.
  9. Still trying to finish a roll in the old Nikon F.
  10. Vincent Peri

I'm in the New Orleans area this weekend, and I spent time shooting in the French Quarter with a Nikon FE2 and an FM loaded with Provia 100F and Ektar 100. Got to try out my 16mm f/2.8 AIS fisheye on the narrow streets of the Quarter.

I'm from New Orleans, but I got flooded out by hurricane Katrina and live 200 miles away now. I'm hoping to move back down here next year.
  11. Its been really hot around here but will try to get out with my Nikon FG+35mm and Tourist 620....
  12. Last weekend before the Monday red-eye to Seattle. Kentmere400 & UFX400 will be the films. Aloha, Bill DSCF6626-horz fed2-iso3.jpg

  13. Will be shooting some WW1 era cameras this weekend at the Passchendaele Memorial Museum.
    - Kodak Auto Graflex RB
    - No.2 Folding Pocket Kodak
.....maybe even take the Panoram No.1 out for a spin.
  14. Probably a good idea to finish the roll of Delta 3200 sitting in my FM2; would also like to finish up the Perceptol before it expires - so Delta 100 or FP4 in some camera. Given that my collection is a fraction of what most of you have, selecting one is a whole lot easier for me..... (in other words, that's going to be the R6 again, I just love the Leica lenses showing off their abilities on these low-grain films).

    Provided it stops raining.
  15. Minolta Autocord + Arista Edu 400
  16. Got a roll of Eastman 5222 in my Minolta SRT 101 with Vivitar 24mm f2 and orange filter. Headed out with that on the bicycle in a few minutes. Might also take along my Yashica T3 (with FP4+) as well.
  17. Visiting family in Florida for week. Using folding Contessa (Delta100), Contax T3 (Delta 400),and daughter's M3 (Provia 100). Contessa gets most use.
  18. Finished the film in the SRT 101. I discovered that I still have about a half dozen rolls (loaded from bulk) of Rolleipan 25 I need to use. So one roll goes in an SRT (starting with Rokkor MC 35mm f2.8) and the other in my Olympus XA.

  19. I'll be using a Yashica 44 if I can figure out how to open it up.
  20. I am finishing a roll of 400TX in the F6 and started a roll of FP4+ in my latest FM2n purchased this year.
