What body is this?

<p>I saw this camera when I was at Marwell Zoo months back. Any idea what body this is? The lens mounted - I'm almost certain it's a 70-200VR1. But the body I didn't have time to really check out as the critters were posing for us and the gent had left by then.</p>

<p>But the body is odd? I've checked on dpreview from the D1 to D3s, and F5 but I can't seem to find a match?<br>

<p>Not a D3xx model - look at the smallish LCD display. Reminds me more of a D1/D1H/x or a D2H.</p>

 

<p>Doesn't look like any of the D1/D2/D3 series - don't they all have a small LCD display below the LCD screen? The one in the image has the LCD screen as the lower one and there appears to be some kind of display above it. Reminiscent of the Kodak DSLR series - though none I know looks like this one. Also, no Nikon DSLR has the button/wheel arrangement like the one depicted in the image.<br>

Poor lens-holding technique too...</p>

<p>I thought the Kodak N series too, but Dieter probably does have it with the Fuji.</p>

<p>My thought too was Fuji S3 Pro or S2 Pro.</p>

<p>try refining the photo in photoshop.<br>

see if u can figure out what's written at the bottom of the LCD.<br>

it's quite a long name, i can tell.</p>

<p>Looks old(ish) especially the grip. Not the grip has a completely flat base most now have a curved more ergonomic base.</p>
