This is the "going rate" for the 60D. View any outfit that offers this camera at a significantly lower price with significant skepticism.

Shopping for a digital camera by searching for the lowest possible price is a guarantee for a world of hurt.

just for the heck of it i did a WHOIS search and golly gee whizz Sarge, fumfie info is "private" out of Scottsdale AZ, not Brooklyn. Contrast that with the legit B&H website who lists real people with real phone numbers and a real NY address...

"They called me to upsell to a better battery ..."

Any reseller that attempts to upsell after you have placed an order by *blatantly lying* to their customers with claims that a "better" battery is necessary is not the BestPlace to buy your DSLR camera.

Said reseller is also *not* an authorized Canon USA dealer, which means they are selling grey market imports.

If it sounds too good to be true, it's most likely too good to be true. I wouldn't touch that store with a 10ft pole. And if they do have the 60D at the specified price, you most likely wouldn't be able to get US warranty and Canon will most likely service a gray/black market product.

Oh come on guys, it's on the internet! It must be true! It even says at the bottom of their page 99% Customer Satisfaction! ROFL! Come on Tim, with odds like dat you can take a chance. Hahaha! I mean what are the chances you would be dat unlucky 1% not satisfied. Dat's honesty in advertizin' dare, dats whut dat is!

Tim, if you are a gambling man, and not afraid to bet your money, you may actually get a camera sent to you, who knows what kind, they may even throw a sticker on it that says 60D, you know sometimes the customers get confused when ordering, thus the 1% not so satisfied. You may get 60 D batteries. Maybe you will get a poster of a 60D to pin to your wall. There's a 99% possibility you will get something and 99 different things you could order, hopefully you are not confused or mistaken about your order.

Now all I am saying here is just my personal opinion. I have never had any dealings with this company. They could be stand up guys? Maybe they are selling cameras way below the competitions price? But doing a simple Google Search, typing in there name and the word SCAM , there is some unflattering stuff being said.

If it were me, I would go B&H, Adorama or a local Camera shop with a Good Reputation where I can see what I am buying. Consider Canon Refurbished gear with a Warranty if you are really trying to save $100.

Best of luck.

Cheers, Mark

I recently purchased my canon eos 7d from fumfie, i saved $200 w fumfie over bh amazon pricing. Camera is brand spankin new, us warranty ect. I will be buying my 16-35 mm lens shortly. One thing to consider is they do make you verify your order so if all i need to do is make a phone call to save $200 its well worth my 3 min.If your not kool with that i suggest going to bh or amazon for $200 more.

00YRoh-341793584.jpg.5cd924094a3729777ed0e20799542aee.jpg

good afternoon folks. I actually purchased a 60D body only and the canon 50mm f/1.8.
This was almost a month ago and it was at fumfie!, i bumped into the site while i was looking for the cheapest prices of 60D body only. i physically went to their store in brooklyn. the staff was great and i did receive the warranty. obviously theyre not as big as B&H or Adorama but they're a great group of people who are willing to work w your budget and your needs as a photographer.
hope this helped.
