I'm not in the monkey business, but I think it's Semnopithecus sp., a form of the grey langur

Ludmilla, as long as you spell my name right, you can "wall" the image. Occasionally, vendors used to come through here and sell "sofa-sized" oil paintings. This could be one of them, I guess. ;)

Could be the folks who particularly wanted this feature haven't been on line lately. A bit different than the old one, but could be put in operation quickly. We'll have to wait & see if it takes off.

I would crop much tighter, on the monkey, so that we could see his expression, which seems to be the idea of the image, along with your title. I can't figure out if that's a rail coming out of his back, or what. I would try to heal that away, or delete the image, if I couldn't get rid of that element. Love the colors.

The Panna Meena Ka Kund picture reminds me of M.C. Escher's "Ascending and Descending".

I like the way in which the monkey tail meets its shadow and is also mimicked in the black drip stains on the wall.
