I started by cropping in Photoshop CS5, then separated the sky from the foreground for separate adjustments. I adjusted the level and saturation of the sky, but left it looking natural. I played with various oil painting settings in Topaz Simplify, and finally, placed a border around the image in in Nik Color Efex.

Cropped to 16x9 to eliminate some foreground in Lightroom, +saturation, clarity, vibrance, gradient from bottom up to darken foreground, radial filter across the middle to brighten middle ground, dehaze overall, +saturation and -luminance on blue channel, slight vignette.1972412523_DigDark.thumb.jpg.e6098517272e1dc1f56c84862e34fe93.jpg
