  1. I`m not a circus show devotee except for that 1900c circus look. The old "classic" big top, lights, covered wagons, advertisments, seems to me very beautiful and elegant. Most of them are not as smart as some, but they try it. This little one has been installed over somekind of jetty. I was walking with a D700 + 24-70 on my shoulder, and took this pic at 24mm, f2.8 - 1/8sec @1600ISO, leaning the camera over a banister. Feel free to post whatever your pic if you like...
  2. Shooted past sunday after concert (Gary Moore, BTW), when lights were turned down. Handheld D90, 28-105 @105, 1/30 f4.5 ISO 3200. No noice removal has been applied to this (looks better after noiseaware plugin do the job, but I wanted to post original image).
  3. With Nikon F3HP, Nikon 24mmF2.8, Ilford HP5 400ASA
  4. Was out walking in the hills on Sunday trying to make the most of the few daylight hours we have just now. Took this picture of an approaching snow shower.

  6. Took this a couple of weeks ago at the little pond behind my 85-year-old dad's condo in Holland, Michigan. Over the past few years, he has patiently stocked the pond with tiny goldfish from a pet store. Some of them are pretty big now. D300, 70-200mm f2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR + TC-14 E II, Nikon circular polarizer, on tripod. ISO 800, 1/160 @ f/5.6.

  21. Mods: thanks for deleting my experimental posts.

The shot of the acrobats on the bike in Beijing was shot with the D300 and 18-200 zoom, ISO 250, 105mm, f7.1, 1/80 sec. with VR turned on.

  27. One from a basketball game last night. I would have liked to have seen the footage on Fox Sports Net. The camera operator here is on his back by the next frame, but he got back in action almost as quickly. Taking one for the team.
