bruno_menilli
Can anyone help? I am looking for a very late,1994/1995,35mm pre aspheric summilux M, perfect optically/mechanically, and not abused cosmectically. Does anyone have one for sale, or does anyone know of one in a shop? Do you think that after all this time(around 8 yrs) there could be any in stock that have not been sold yet? Thanks for any help you can give. steve_hoffman
There is one on eBay right now, if you don't mind overpaying for the titanium finish.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2933379625&category=30063
bruno_menilli
Thanks Steve, I forgot to mention black finish! Bruno
steve_hoffman
Sorry, Bruno. I've seen them on the 'bay now then but the 'cron usually shows up more often. I have one and although I like it for low light work, it's too tiny and fiddly for me.
bruno_menilli
Steve, is your one a late model, and are you thinking of selling it? Bruno
steve_hoffman
Bruno, it is a '93, but I use it. Sorry. They do show up from time to time though. I don't think many people actually like the lens too much!
doug_hagerman
On the contrary, I think the reason they are hard to find is that their owners love them! They're compact and light, very fast, and just as good as the 35 Summicron at comparable apertures, and give one more stop when it's really needed. The perfect Leica lens...
