Nowhereman
Soeren, Now, what's the point of that? Not interesting at all. Sorry, but why should you do that to your wife? Can't you do better than that? --Mitch/Cape Town

soeren_engelbrecht1
Sorry Mitch - Although I must say that my wife was not exactly unaware of my presence when I took the picture :-) To make up for this, I'll post a somewhat more flattering image.<div></div>

jeff_plomley1
Cheers Matt. Original capture was digital, converted with the Imaging Factory B&W Pro converter. Recorded at ISO 1250, 1/12th at f-1.4 with a 35mm lens. I applied Neat Image noise reduction in color mode before converting to B&W. I have printed this on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308 for the portfolio book and as I type this I am printing it on Canvas (matte, 100% cotton); this was my first capture for this sort of street photog/ reportage style of shooting. Having shot exclusively wildlife for 15 years, it is a refreshing change (but I am convinced that two legged creatures are more challenging and dangerous than the four legged kind). One body, one lens-it is so liberating. Your positive feedback tells me I'm heading in the right direction.
