  1. Hi all, time to share your favorite pic to the week, 1 pic only please. So a busy weekend in LA, Kings in Stanley Cup semis, Lakers in the Western Conference Semis, Dodgers playing baseball at Chavez Ravine, the freeways will be awful. I wonder if people will get away to the art museums like the Getty Villa. Leica M7, 35mm and awful reflections I had to deal with in post. [IMG]
  2. Street near me. Some neglected beauties. This one for sale and no doubt for demolition.
  3. Nex 5n + 35mm Lux cropped obviously...
  4. Altissa shot with Leicaflex SL and PA-Curtagon.
Many pictures in my familiy's photo-albums have been shot with box-cameras like the cute Altissa. The Baltic Sea was location No.1 back then.
  5. Shot last week. Mamiya 6, 150mm f4.5, Fuji Acros rated ISO 6, ZoneSimple Extreme, cropped.
  6. Leica M6, 50mm f2 Summicron, Fuji Neopan 400
  7. IIIc, Summitar, Tri-X, D-76 1:1
  8. The balloon guy, Monterey, CA
  9. Leica MP, 35mm Summilux f/1.4 ASPH, Fuji Provia 400X

    M9, 50mm Lux Asph @ f/1.4
  11. I was in Frankfurt for a few hours last week. Went for a short walk but the city was deserted as the occupy movement was planning a big demonstration.
  12. So many great shots this week!
Tom Higgins, those tones are incredible. I've been shooting clouds a lot lately and know how difficult that shot can be to meter and to get from film (assuming). Great shot.
  13. Mine is a pan leaf seller in the Pondicherry bazaar. M4, 50mm Summicron, Fuji 400Pro.
  14. Airbus over Massachusetts Bay.
  15. Thanks Jim. In fairness the camera did nearly all the work- M8/50mm summicron set to auto, ran the (raw) file thru PS5 for levels then nik softwares color fx pro. ("pro contrast" filter) and of course, as Edward (Weston) said, "there's years of work in clouds".
  16. p.s.- cracking shot Dennis, been too long.
  17. Graffiti
    M6 Wetzlar - 50mm Summicron Type IV - Fuji Velvia 100

    's been a while. M9, 21 CV
  19. Epson RD-1s + Canon 50/1.2 @ f1.2 and ISO 2400. The International Theatre, London put on Shakespeare's Macbeth at my school last week. I got a front row seat, which made shooting the play easier.
  20. The above should read "The International Theatre Company, London."
Guess what Lady Macbeth is saying in the above shot.
  21. "Out, out, damned spot!"
Or do I have my plays mixed up?? :)
  22. Washington Sq.
  23. Nice shot Dennis..
  24. "Make Me Pretty"
    M9, Summicron 50/2.0, iso 160, 1/90 at f2.8
  25. Here's mine!
  26. Very close, Paul. "Out damned spot!" comes from Lady Macbeth's sleepwalking scene. At this moment she is saying,
Here's the smell of the blood still: all the
perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little
    hand. Oh, oh, oh!
And I shot that at ISO 2500 not 24500. Out damned error! out I say!
  27. Fuji X100[IMG]
  28. That's beautiful Jeff: lovely warm tone.
  29. Thanks Richard and Knut!
  30. Yes Jeff, really lovely photo.
