  1. Lucky week 7. Sitting in for Bill. Show your best. I'll start with a photo taken at Lark in the Morning Music Celebration with a Contax G2 and 35mm. Lets see yours!

  3. Friend lent me a 10mm lens. Not for me. But this from the hip shot sort of appeals to me.

  5. Well done Uhooru. That's good. Really good. Hope you've got that framed and hanging on your wall. And michael_levy|3, sort of appeals to me as well. 'Sort of', LOL. Damned good shot. Mine are prosaic, and I still haven't worked out sizing. Had a week long residential this week. So a couple of shots from it.The first a badly focussed shot of one of the lecturers. The second, an overly large file of a bronze statue at the motel I stayed in, University House, on the campus of the ANU, at Canberra. Ilived there many years ago as a post-grad. I love going back. The final is of a woman on the train back home. About 10 hours each way from where I am. All with my monochrom M. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1)

  7. Victor_gruber, I've looked at your shot several times now, and it mesmerises me. Please, tell me about it. The gravestone inscriptions are themselves baroque. Please. It is quite haunting. Regards, Arthur (apiartist1)
  8. Arthur, this picture was taken in SF Zoo during a Halloween . Some work in Photoshop was done to give it a special look. Scanning b&w film as a color positive gives more ways for the manipulations.
