arthur_mcculloch2
That's a really good shot of the cactus. With respect, you could crop it down, if you wanted, to emphasise the two lower flowers. They are precision, clean, crisp, and sharp. Enviable. My shots this week are indifferent. An M3 I recently purchased, with a 50mm summicron DR, FP4. They were tests. Developed with the catechol recipe given to me by Bill Bowes (I cannot replicate his immaculate tonal range. He's a master). I manage a small NGO tenants advice service on the mid north coast of NSW, Oz. We usually have an 'in service education' day each month (to catch up with appeals panel/supreme court decisions), and then each quarter, backing on the 'in-service', go out to lunch. So our lunch. Shaun, a long serving worker, a biker. While not Indigenous himself, he enjoys and deserves great respect from the Kempsey Indigenous community. And Emma. Emma, like me has a law degree. Though I like to boast first class honours, the university medal, a post grad PhD, blah blah, by God, Emma has such a forensic mind and such meticulous attention to detail. She's brilliant and puts me into the shade. My reflection in her spectacle, as it should be. And Bob. A bad shot, caught in crossing sunlight. Bob is a social worker, with lengthy experience in mental health. While not legally trained, he is a pillar, no, more than that, a foundation to our service. He has been instrumental in establishing a mental health service in our area. And a hapless individual caught up in our frivolities The M3 is double stroke, the summicron DR is fussy to use. Both needed some TLC after I bought them. But they work. The M3 deserves it high accolades. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1)

christopher_a._junker1
Arthur, lovely portrait series of your co-workers, nicely done. I just had e-mail from Ballaroo NSW, the area looks so green and well kept. Most Yanks, myself included know very little about Australia.

We are in drought on the eastern seaboard and have been now for a few years. Some towns in the north west, armidsle tamworth glenn inmes, will run out of water in the next few months. Some towns already have, guyra. And now rely on shipped water. Its not pretty for us. Weve already had significant and quite devastating bush fires in northern nsw and southern qld. As said, its not pretty. Regards. Arthur (apiarist1)

Rick_van_Nooij
Thank you, Arthur. It is a bokeh monster and it's light gathering abilities are fantastic. There's a bit of vignetting and drop off of sharpness towards the corners. But nothing I find horrible about it. Clearly my favorite lens of the moment. ;) Engineers Museum 2019
